I don't know if this should be hard to believe or to be expected.

That's like the SNL skit about Jeopardy. All the answers came from High School seniors. Example: Capitol of Florida. The answer given was, "What is Tallahassee?" Alex Trebeck's character says, "Oh, I'm sorry. The answer is 'What is Miami'. Remember, these answers come from high school seniors." Sad, but all too accurate.

Seriously... how hard is it to walk around town and look for the most slack-jawed buffoon you can find, then sidle up for an interview? Who did they pick for their little "experiment"? Rednecks, random blacks and Hispanics in t-shirts. Did you see them approach anyone in a suit and tie? Anyone well-dressed who looked like they might have a clue? Hell no. Fat, inbred looking redneck women, a redneck dude who couldn't stop chewing his gum long enough to speak, a scraggly-bearded black dude with 3 teeth. Christ on a cross, he might as well have gone to Zimbabwe and asked them what they thought about the current fiscal policy in Pakistan.
I have to admit, though, that the choices of Saudi Arabia and North Korea as the next nations to "invade" in the "war on terror" weren't too far off base.
But for fucksake, how about an actual random sampling of humanity instead of intentionally picking the dregs. Unless that was done in New York City or Los Angeles, in which case that probably WAS a random sampling from what I've seen when visiting.

Some of the contestants on "Cash Cab" are pretty sharp. There was one guy that didn't miss a question. Of course, all those people are screened before they're put on the show. It's unfortunate that Joe Average is pretty sub par sometimes. You can ask most people any question about fractions or percentages and they're totally lost.
