BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi President Jalal Talabani rejected the Iraq Study Group's report Sunday, calling it "very dangerous" to Iraq's sovereignty and constitution.

"We can smell in it the attitude of James Baker," Talabani said, referring to the report's co-chair who served as secretary of state under President George H. W. Bush during the 1991 Iraq war.

Talabani blamed Baker for leaving then-Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein in power after that conflict, which ousted Iraqi troops from Kuwait.

A pawn of Iran, if his country would only grow some balls and start fighting for themselves, then we would be able to leave a lot quicker.. I really think the whole reason why were still there is because the Iraqi government along with its army can't defend itself and wants the US to do it for them.. If they don't start standing up and making an effort to take control of the situation, when we do leave the government and country will fall to the insurgents and it will be all over for the country's leaders...
