I wonder of no reaction of americans about recent Israel's offensive vs. paletinaians.
I think, because americans think, that their lifes are worth something, and while theier "friends" israelis killing palestinians, aren't WORTH A HUMAN LIFE.
Afterall, americans wonder: Where's all terrorism comes from and why?
Who does so, either bonehead or brainwashed by US Media.

Anti American again Gin.. Hezbolla started this conflict, like all the rest. So Isreal has every right to defend herself.. But then again you wouldn't agree anyway.. Maybe that is why people except me are ignoring your post...

i heard something the other day that Hezbollah and the like have tossed something like 400 rockets into Israeli territory some after the crisis began but also some well before hand.
tell me: exactly how many punches to the nose are the Israeli's supposed to endure? or because of world opinion (and underlying anti-jewish bigotry) are the israelis supposed to sit on their hands?
why does the world always ask Israel to show restraint and garner condemnation and you hear nary a peep about hezbollah doing the same?
or calls on hamas to reign in hezbollah? they are connected to each other in many reports.
The more and more I see of the violent acts perpetrated by Islamic fundamentalism, I begin to agree that these groups are amongst the greatest threats to world peace on the planet.
Now before gin jumps in and goes israel this, israel did that and they are getting what they deserved and semites are more than israelis (and all the other bullshit he spews)
ask yourself, the attacks in:
Spain
Bombay
Bali
London
Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt
Demsa, Nigeria
Casablanca
Ahmedabad, India
al-Arbaa, Algeria
New Delhi, India
(do i need to continue?)
surely not all of these people "had it coming"?
Remember, the Israelis have given the Arabs just about everything that they have asked for and yet that is not enough and the killing continues.
Someone must step up and say: stop or we will stop you. It won't be popular, it won't be clean, it'll be bloody, dirty vile fight...but that fight is coming (the early skirmishes are here now) and where we stand will define the face of the planet.

Don't get so exited jedi_knight01, my post was made prior Hezbolla attacks.Didn't you noticed that?
Of course, Israel has "a right" to defend themselves against "terrorists from palestinians or hezbolla".
Just like US had "a right" to defend themselves from Iraq Invasion.

Israel is now paying the price for not crushing hizballah 6 years ago.
my only fear is that the price for not stopping iran will be one that we (and all freedom loving people) will be unable to pay.

it is not bullshit, the locations and attacks listed were clearly attributible to Islamic extremists.
Now answer the question: did all the people killed and wounded have it coming to them?
unless of course you believe that the tooth fairy came down and with her partners the Easter Bunny and the Great Pumpkin blew up or shot these folks.

I agree with Boss, the day is coming when it will be time to really fight. What we and Israel are doing now is no way near the level of what will need to be done. At some point in time, the gloves will have to come off, the military will have to be let off the leash. You're talking about people who aren't interested in peace, or a cease-fire. They're interested in killing anyone and everyone who doesn't share their beliefs.

To all of you, I'd like to get opinions, comments about:
What's wrong with this World???
It looks like people don't think the other way around. Why Israel is so good in their own way but bad in World opinion, in arab world? They promise peace, but arabs just keep attacking them? Why is it so that ~ 1(one_ Billioon arabs are wrong, but 6 mil. os israelis are right, with very good intentions?
Why US with ~300 mil. people are good and right, but whatever they do, rest of planet don't like? What's wrong with all these russians, swedes, chinesse, danes, french, australians, germans, etc, etc, etc.....
How can it be that ~ 300 mil people doing "right things" while ~5 billions doesn't accept it? Why is it so?
Americans and israelis prolly would think that in 1930's whole World didn't just understand Italy's and Germany's good wishes for sake of The World?
Americans think that Israel is a democracy in Middle-east. Why then is it so, that it's better to be black in US that to be non-jew in Israel? What kind of "democracy" is there?
Who do need anti-semites( dris, mr.bossman, etc, etc, incl. myself) besides zionists, jewish extremists?
Why The World don't like Israel and US if US and Israel are so good?
Can billions of people be plain wrong? Don't forget that those billion gives you a gas you can drive car filled with, those billions saw your clothes, make most of things you're you using everyday.
What's wrong with all that?

I guess gintaras is right. 400 million arabs can't be wrong: murdering your sister for wearing makeup, blowing yourself up in a restaurant, mutilating women, beheading civilians with pocket knives, etc... must be good.
protecting yourself from all the above must be bad.
Gintaras makes it sound like the arabs invented oil, they just happen to be sitting on it. the arabs never invented anything to help anyone. they can't even extract the oil from the ground themselves.

for the Jews it boils down to hundreds of generations of hatred, stemming all the way back to the Crucifixtion of Christ (the Jews killed Jesus!!) followed by pretty non-stop actions against the Jews - systematically excluded from society after society, century after century and no one to stand up and say "stop"
as to the idea that the "majority" must be right:
Examples thru history of the majority:
Thought enslaving their fellow man was ok
Thought that the world was flat
Thought that voting and working were the provence of men only
Thought the Earth and then the sun were the centers of the universe
Thought Man couldn't fly
Thought Man couldn't go the moon
but, the majority was proved wrong.
In fact, if history shows us anything, the "right" path is rarely the popular path as it encompasses changes to the status quo and people are deathly afraid of change and upset.

From my point of view, way much arabs willing to tell others- not arabs what to wear, how to behave, etc, etc, than americans and israelis telling other countries and nations how to live, what to eat, how to behave. Arabs don't have much propaganda of their lifes to others as americans have. Problem is that americans and israelis don't understand how it feels to force others live the way they want. It is:
my way or may way
Anyway, who the fuck you're to tell other people what to do and what to wear? Israel and US call themselves Democracies, but the way they act- nothing else as Totalirian wannabies.
When Ariel Sharon gave Gaza to palestinians, and many cheered about peace in Mid-East, I didn't believe it. I knew, that jewish extremists in Israel will do anything and everything to take those lands back, and even more....just what happens today.
I see that on forumclick are some cowards ready to discuss- how to kill someone else:
-to cut his head off with a kitchen knife, or
-to blow a hundred bodies with a bomb that no piece of body could be found.
What's interesting are those who support killing others in hundreds with the hepl of bombs, but oppose to kill a few with a kitchen knife. I bet, these think that to kill with bombs are more "human" way that to cut a head off with as kitchen knife. I bet that those people to consider themselves as sane people, very normal.
You know why americans prefer to blow up thousands with one bombs as opposed to one death by kitchen knife?
Because of STATISTICS. IN US media everywhere statistics, precentage, and people like it.
Here's EM Remarque with his remark:
One death is a TRAGEDY, many deaths- just statistics
About inventions....
I could discuss about this too.

If I went into History, you might agree with me on one issue:

With all love they show to jews and Israel, how about that Communism and Revolution in Russia in 1917 was done by jews.
in your 1st point you deny the validity of historic comparisons and then use them to justify another one of your (wacky) points of view.
which one is it?
But to your point: Hitler was intent on dominating all of Europe to create his 1000 year Reich. By 1941, Hitler has already invaded and subjugated Poland, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Balkans, Greece and France; had treaties with Russia, Italy, Spain and Japan; toeholds in the Middle East (lost shortly thereafter) and tentative and flexible control of parts of North Africa. The British, while putting up a valiant defense, were in a very tenuous position in Europe (they were effectively bottled up in the British Isles and slowly withering on the vine due to the U-Boat campaign cutting down their imported supplies). So Hitler, seeing Russia as the only viable European threat to his plans (Italy was too small and Spain too worn out from years of civil war), turned and attempted (foolishly) a knock out punch against Russia. He fully expected the Russians to fold up like all other European powers before his revolutionary combined forces mobile attack strategy and tactics (aka blitzkreig).
The Germans had a health respect for the Russians as they fought them during WWI and only the Russian Revolution ended the threat of the potentially fatal 2nd front.
As history has shown us, Russia was too large (the Germans couldn't achieve air superiority over the entire country which would have tied up and cut off reinforcements) and the Russian people too resiliant to be taken off the board that easily.
While the case would be made that Nazi Germany invaded Russia to stop the expansion of communism throughout Europe, that is an ex post facto analysis to fit (and justify) a theory. The analysis overlooks the mutual defense treaty that the Russians and Germans signed in 1939 (that doesn't sound like an attempt to stop expansion but rather to, effectively, grant Russia parts of Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia (for access and control of year around available sea ports).
But then again, why let historical analysis get in the way of a good rant?

Nobel Prizes don't mean much , maybe just because these names, who were awarded Prizes in Peace:
1994 - Yaser Arafat- americans consider him as terrorist, altough, he didn't do nothing clode like Menachim Begin or Bin Laden
1978 - Menachem Begin- Terrorist #1 in The World prior becoming PM of Israel, Peace Nobel Prize for him? Then Bin Laden should get one too.
1986 - Elie Wiesel- a jewish extremist who's ripping other countries while crying Holocaust...however REAL Holocaust survivors didn't get much or nothing from likes like Wiesel. Holocaust Survivors should make a trial for him and hang him. He's a shame for jews.
-------------------------------------
Now, back to real life.
I have a lady-friend who lived in Israel for 2 years. She's brainwashed. I could talk to her on any subject because she was very educated and intelligent woman.
She explained to me many things why Israel is a state of racism and apartheid.
As an exsample she told me what would happen in Israel is she(a jew) and me(non-jew) get married and move to Israel, and deceide to have children. You know, better to be black in US or any other country than non-jew in Israel.
Another thing she didn't like about living in Israel....everyday jew in Israel are brainwashed that they are very good- superior- just because they're jews.
And after she asked me:
Gintaras, if I'm(her) good? just because I'm a jew? If you're good, just because you're a lithuanian?- Do they so in Lithuania?
Then she added:
Have you ever heard of any very famous scientist that was born in Israel?
Have you heard of any good chess player that was born in Israel?
NO, NONE.
Anyone in US has wondered about?:
Israel is US best friend, but has anyone seen israeli TV programs, on let's say PBS channel? Just like you can watch BBC World, French TC, Italian RAI...
Have anyone seen Israel TV? And don't wonder why you can't get any? From so-called Best Friend of US.
Well, from accounts of people who fled Israel, it would be similar watching TV in nazi Germany. Just not about how jews are a victims, but how they make victims of others- palestinians mostly.
I've watched here in US russian-american TV, pro-Israel, and have programs that covers Israel. God forbid americans to see what I saw. That's why< I guess, there are no TV programs in english on american TV.
Another thing,
peekaboo claims about so many inventions jews has made. I won't dissagree.
Jews are very well educated and inteligent people. I always say that I like how jews do in schools, don't like the way non-jews perform- those morons all they need- cellphones and iPods. After those moron fail on anything or everything, they start talking anti-semitic. I'm on for jewish side while on how jewish kids look at their education.
Israel, and what they do, make, produce?
Who and what last time saw any product- food, clothes, etc that has "made in israel"?
Confess....mbossman2 too.....
"Best Friend", and nothing in return for 10+ billion $$ country receiving yearly?
So, peekaboo, inventions, inventions, but wtat's in reality? Nothing? just ICQ?

To watch soft porn TV, to make muslim women wear mini skirts?
Just plain "democracy" all over Iraq, porn, Paris Hilton, orgies, muslims agreeing with you, and together with "democratic Iraq" you'll conquer other nations who don't agree with you- "a global democtacy"?

I agree,
just a question to answer:
You(parents, gransparents...who cares now) occupied indians in today's US.
How would you feel if someone else occupied you, your family and tell you how to live? How would you feel? How do you think palestinans feel? The same way you would feel...if someone occupied you? To tell what to do, how to live, what to eat? etc..etc....
I lived under Soviet occupation. I want to hear your opinion, how would you deal with?
Can you answer it, and be honest. Don't try to spin it off.

to be born in israel you must be younger than 58, that's expecting a bit too much don't you think.
in any case, there are plenty of israeli inventions (even one is more than the zero that have come from the arabs).
here we go:
Israel, the 100th smallest country, with less than 1/1000th of the world's population, can lay claim to the following:
Israel has the highest ratio of university degrees to the population in the world.
Israel produces more scientific papers per capita than any other nation by a large margin - 109 per 10,000 people - as well as one of the highest per capita rates of patents filed.
In proportion to its population, Israel has the largest number of startup companies in the world. In absolute terms, Israel has the largest number of startup companies than any other country in the world, except the US (3,500 companies mostly in hi-tech).
Israel is ranked #2 in the world for venture capital funds right behind the US.
Outside the United States and Canada, Israel has the largest number of NASDAQ listed companies.
Israel has the highest average living standards in the Middle East. The per capita income in 2000 was over $17,500, exceeding that of the UK.
Israel's $100 billion economy is larger than all of its immediate neighbors combined.
On a per capita basis, Israel has the largest number of biotech start-ups.

To sum it all up Gin if the Arabs countries would renounce terrorism and get rid of all the trouble makers, then they themselves would prosper more than they are now.. I don't hate Muslims of any kind just a little weary, because I don't know what is on their minds.. I tell you a little story, last week while in Nevada, two Muslims were staring down my wife while we were stopping for a break ( required by DOT) they were looking at her as, to say "Why isn't she walking 10ft behind her husband? and why is she wearing those clothes? I gave them a harsh star back and felt like saying because she is free and American, and can do as she please period.. The one thing I can't stand is someone looking down on someone else, just because they don't dress or believe in what they believe in..
