I think it is right to investigate and to prosecute those Americans who are responsible for physical and psychological torture at Abu Gaib prison (in Iraq) and Quantanamo (in Cuba). It is appropriate that they be punished. But it shouldn’t be a one-sided thing.

I wonder if there has been any effort to bring to justice the Iraqi prison guards who tortured British soldiers during the Gulf War. I was thinking about Andy McNabb and the survivors of his team who were daily tortured beyond description after they were captured in Iraq. And let’s not forget all of those completely innocent men who were abducted and subjected to extreme torture in war-torn Beirut for months, and even years. Have any of their captors been hunted down and brought to trial? Has there even been any effort?
