Read HERE (http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2003/11/16/132412.shtml) to see just how biased the mainstream media really is. This would be a career ending remark if it came from a Republican. But no, let's be kind and generous to the old womanizer drunken Kennedy.Though controversy over Kennedy's outburst continued to swirl on Capitol Hill throughout the weekend, press coverage of the incident has been sparse.Gimme a fucking break! Is this a double standard or what?

Well obviously Neanderthal is an acceptable word in politics. Perhaps we should start calling Sharpton and Farakhan "Neanderthal" since obviously an "N" word that''s not a career ender.

How is Neanderthal a racist remark? If he'd said "gorilla", I could see the protest, but "neanderthal"?

You miss the point glape! If the line would have come from a republican senator, the dems would have instantly turned it into a racist remark. Thankfully, the republicans have the class to not do so.

No need to read any more of that stroy just the word "Minority" would suggest they are either Black (highly likely) or Hispanic (Not likely) so any thing you say even if it is not intended to be harmfull you will need to apologize or here about it til your dying day.
