I don't have a point but I thought I could find a topic where non-believers of Jesus and believers of Jesus could discuss/battle openly.

:D

He probably wiped his ass with a rock like everyone else at that time as they wandered the land. :)

I have read that while he was "wandering the wilderness for 40 days" that he had traveled to another country and learned the magical arts of illusion.

Of course he was a regular dude. I think Jesus was a prophet, much like others we have had through history. I think others created the "son of God" image after he died to the point where people worship him now. I don't think Jesus evr intended to be an idol. Same thing happened with Buddha. His teachings never held himself to be anything more than a man, yet after his death the Buddhists altered the teachings over time to the point where now people worship Buddha.

He sure fulfilled alot of Old Testament prophecies. Would have taken a grand conspiracy in those olden times. He also called himself who he was and it would have taken many conspirators afterwards to write all the Books. No other person impacted history in such a way since. Believe as you may.

Of course he fulfilled a lot of prophecies. It says right in the bible that he did this or that "so that the prophecy would be fulfilled"
It sounds like they had a checklist that they were working their way through.

Anyway, I find this topic interesting because I can't honestly think of any moral man that has had more significance on our lives that him who lived thousands of years ago before our time.

People are coming up with theories that Jesus was not the son of God. So far, no one has given much of an arguement because it seems everyone here is Christian.

How boring.

I am a regular guy and if asked I would not call myself the messiah – do I qualify for an interview for the next Jesus?

bob, you believe in Siddhartha? I've seen three of his finger bones in three different countries.

Somehow I don't see bob getting crucified...it would be more like bob denying he was everything they said they was and passing the blame to someone else...
