A shepherd was tending his sheep when a brand new pick up pulled up next to him. Out stepped the driver, a young man dressed an Armani suit, and wearing Ray-Ban sun-glasses.
Looking at the shepherd, he said
"If I can tell you how many sheep you have in your field, will you give me one?"
"Alright" said the shepherd
The young man connected his laptop to his mobile phone, entered a NASA website,scanned the ground using his GPS, opened a database with Excel 60 algorithms, then printed a 100 page report on a mini printer.
Turning to the shepherd he said
"you have 2,544 sheep"
"That's correct", said the shepherd, you can take your sheep"
After the young man had loaded the sheep, the shepherd said to him
"If I can guess your profession, will you give me back my sheep?"
The young man smiled and said "sure,why not"
"You are an investment banker " said the shepherd. Surprised, the young man replied
"Yes, but how did you know?"
"Very simple", said the shepherd.
"First, you come here without being asked. Second you make me pay for something I already know, and third, you have no clue about what I do - you've just picked up my sheepdog"
